Freestyle Patchwork
After many years in the international korak-industry, a new need has developed: a need to work more independently, more individually and more in my very own style. I still enjoy the traditional art but somehow too many copies have come to the market, with no sole and no personality.
Inspiration for my own art is being given to me from just about every item or element around me; ordinary tools, such as packaging, paving, stone walls, wood beiges, or the inside of a radio. But most of all, mother nature is a constant and generous provider of colours and pattern diversities.
If your eyes and ears are open, if your heart is receptive and your senses put on alert, you will be filled with inputs and ideas, allowing you to be in a positive flow and to work with creativity and joy.
